(One of a series of characters commissioned by the Zenmasters DJ Crew).

Dkodas background lies mainly in graphic design, switching to street art and illustration through his work with Selph, Philfy and Irie, pre-millenium. Originally, Dkoda was part of an electro hip-hop group called Cubitus 6, one of the very first creative endeavours from the crew who became ESP visuals.

From writing lyrics to composing music, making short animations, films, flyers, posters and stickers, Dkoda is constantly pushing himself creatively. Amongst the range of characters under Dkodas belt, there is an inherent fascination with Robots, Cyborgs and Aliens. Stylitsically, Dkoda tends to draw characters with facial expressions that emphasise his constant battle with the meaning to life and the decyphering of the system we live within.This is apparent as a common theme in his music, lyrics and films, where the focus on unreal or imaginitive creatures serves to highlight the notion that just because we can't see it, doesn't mean it isn't there. Currently residing in the UK, Dkoda has commercially worked alongside, and designed for, DJ crew Zenmasters, the Fluid Bar in Farringdon, Cafe 1001, and KTS, an extreme sports brand company. He has been working on a 5 minute animation since April and it is finally complete. So far, feedback on the story has been great, and with the score composed and arranged by Tai Tronic, the production is taking shape nicely. Though the story of this animation is not based around the ESPvisuals crew, sufficed to say that a crew animation is on the cards for release in late 2007.
